A two-day training course for current and aspiring licensed taxi and private hire drivers, ending with a multiple-choice assessment.

A two-day introductory course for people working in or seeking a career as licensed taxi and private hire drivers, delivered in partnership with East Suffolk Council. Topics include health and safety, road safety, customer service, vehicle maintenance, the regulatory framework, assisting passengers, routes and fares, and transporting parcels, children and young people. The course runs from 9am to 4pm each day and ends with a multiple-choice assessment; successful delegates receive a certificate of achievement. No formal entry requirements apply, though a good understanding of English is needed.
