A free monthly drop-in social group for older LGBTQ+ people to chat, meet others and make new friends.
Silver Rainbows is an informal monthly gathering offering older LGBTQ+ people the chance to meet others and make new friends. The project began in 2016 as a Brightlife-supported Body Positive initiative tackling social isolation among older LGBT+ people in Cheshire West, creating a peer support network that meets virtually and in person. It has also spawned social offshoots including the Proud Marys choir, the Tea and Tattle group and the Silver Strollers walking group.
