A Christmas light trail at Thursford combining indoor festive scenes with an outdoor lantern light extravaganza, running from 2 to 24 December 2026.
Visitors walk through the Fantasy Land building past Christmas scenes including polar bears, elves loading Santa's sleigh and a present wrapping machine, before heading outdoors to the Lantern Light Extravaganza in the top meadow, a display of luminous sculptures ranging from an underwater world to North Pole scenes. The trail is suitable for all ages and takes roughly one to one and a half hours. Father Christmas does not appear at this event; a separate Santa's Magical Journey ticket includes a visit to Santa.
