Curator Talk: What Remains
About
Curator Laura Moseley leads a small-group tour of the What Remains exhibition, discussing its themes of feminist histories, archives and memory.
Curator Laura Moseley leads a relaxed, small-group tour of What Remains, an exhibition marking the 40th anniversary of Murray Edwards College's first artwork acquisition, Mary Kelly's Extase (1986). The talk looks closely at works by contemporary artists including Lorna Hamilton-Brown, Rachael House, Sarah-Joy Ford and Ebun Sodipo, who engage with archives, personal and collective histories and material traces of the past. Participants will discuss the exhibition's themes and research and consider how contemporary artists continue to work with feminist histories and memory.
