Children's Machine Sewing Lessons - Christmas Crown

A half-day class teaching children aged 8-17 sewing machine basics while making a Christmas crown.

This two-hour workshop at Franklins in Ipswich introduces children aged 8-17 to using a sewing machine, covering winding a bobbin, threading the machine, choosing stitches, changing stitch length, applying interfacing, and lining and turning through. Participants put these skills into practice by making a Christmas crown to take home. Machines, fabric and haberdashery are supplied, and children aged 8-15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
