Behind The Scenes Tour – February 2027

A guided behind-the-scenes tour of Stockport's 1932 Art Deco Plaza cinema and theatre, raising funds for its restoration appeal.

The Plaza opens its doors for a guided tour behind the scenes of the 1932 Art Deco Super Cinema and Variety Theatre, a building of international significance where stage and screen stars have appeared since it first opened. Ticket proceeds support the venue's ongoing Maintenance and Restoration Appeal. The tour includes stairs; visitors with access needs can contact the General Manager in advance to arrange adaptations, such as a spoken introduction hosted in the ground-floor Stalls area.
