Gardening Club

A free, relaxed fortnightly gardening session in Baltic's Front Room garden, open to all ages with tools and drinks provided.

Gardening Club is a relaxed, social group led by a friendly gardener and Baltic Crew member, meeting fortnightly in the Front Room garden at BALTIC. Participants sow seeds, dig, weed and tend plants, and can make a small flag expressing how they feel about nature to plant among the flowers. Help-yourself hot and cold drinks are available and all tools are provided; the sessions run for 90 minutes and are open to all ages and abilities. The club is part of Birds, Bees, Bikes & Trees, a partnership project between Baltic, North East Young Dads & Lads and Newcastle University funded by the National Lottery Climate Action Fund.
