Dead Mountaineer’s Hotel

At a remote mountain guesthouse, Inspector Peter Glebsky investigates an anonymous tip and finds that the visitors and events are not what they seem.

Grigori Kromanov’s Estonian science-fiction film follows Inspector Peter Glebsky to a remote hotel, where an apparent detective case gives way to an encounter with the inexplicable. The ICA places the film in its After Utopia programme on the Strugatsky Brothers and notes the screening is part of the Cinema Rediscovered tour, supported by the Embassy of Estonia in London.
