Spooky family ghost train days on the Weardale Railway with fancy dress, pumpkin trail and craft market.
Weardale Railway runs Halloween Family Fun Days with a 'spooktacular ghost train' service between Stanhope and Bishop Auckland, departing Stanhope at 10:30 and 14:30 and Bishop Auckland West at 12:00 and 16:00. Activities include a fancy dress competition at 2pm at Stanhope Station with a prize for the best costume, a best decorated pumpkin contest at 2pm, a pumpkin trail around Stanhope Station, and a local craft market on Platform Two. The café is open and photographs are provided by Graeme Carroll Photography.
