About

A festive 1.5-hour soft wax pendant-carving workshop with jeweller Josefina Flello Martinez, with your design cast in recycled sterling silver ready before Christmas.

Independent jeweller Josefina Flello Martinez of Atypical Thing leads a hands-on workshop at the Craft and Culture cafe next door to the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. Participants learn how jewellers use soft wax before lost wax casting, then carve, shape and texture their own pendant design using jeweller's wax and simple hand tools. No experience is needed and spaces are limited to 20 people. Finished designs are professionally cast in recycled sterling silver (up to 3g including the chain), polished and ready to collect before Christmas.
