La Londinense Orchestra, homenaje a la salsa

A 13-piece London-based salsa orchestra performs a tribute spanning 60 years of salsa, with an optional beginner dance class.

La Londinense Orchestra brings together 13 London-based musicians with Latin American roots from Cuba, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Mexico and beyond. The show traces the evolution of salsa over the past 60 years, from Cuban Son to the music of the Fania All Stars, Willie Colón, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Sonora Ponceña, Ismael Rivera and Hector Lavoe. An optional beginner salsa dance class opens the evening so newcomers can learn some moves before the night of dancing.
