Greyhope Morning: Fishing For Litter

A coffee morning at Greyhope Bay Centre with guest speaker Julia Cant on the Fishing for Litter initiative tackling marine litter at sea.

Greyhope Bay hosts a coffee morning exploring how fishermen are helping to reduce marine litter at sea through the UK-wide Fishing for Litter initiative. Guest speaker Julia Cant, the project's coordinator, explains how the scheme works and how fishing crews take part in protecting the marine environment. Filter coffee, tea and herbal tea will be available from volunteers, as the cafe is closed on Tuesdays, and donations are welcome. The session runs for two hours.
