October Bird Survey (Beginners Welcome)

A beginner-friendly monthly bird survey at Greyhope Bay to identify and record the bird species using the site.

Greyhope Bay runs a monthly bird survey to better understand how bird species use the site around Greyhope Bay and Torry Battery throughout the year, where over 200 species have been recorded. This relaxed session is open to all skill levels, with no experience needed, and participants help identify birds seen around the bay. Attendees should dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear for walking on uneven ground; binoculars can be borrowed if needed, and the on-site cafe will be open afterwards.
