About
The Radcliffe Orchestra, made up largely of Oxford healthcare workers, performs Beethoven and Myaskovsky in a charity concert at St Andrew's Church.
Andrew Gray conducts the Radcliffe Orchestra in a programme of Beethoven's Fidelio overture, Myaskovsky's Cello Concerto with soloist Jacqueline Johnson, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 6 'Pastoral'. The orchestra, formed mainly of healthcare workers including staff from the John Radcliffe Hospital, has performed for over 40 years and gives three concerts a year for medical charities. Proceeds from this two-hour concert go to The Porch, which supports people who are homeless or vulnerably housed.
