The Snow Queen
About
Ballet Theatre UK performs a fairytale ballet adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen with two shows at Concordia Theatre.
Ballet Theatre UK presents a re-telling of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairytale as a ballet, following Gerda's quest to rescue her friend Kay from the Snow Queen's curse of eternal winter. Her journey across the frozen north brings encounters with gypsies, enchanted reindeer and a reclusive Lapland woman before she reaches the Palace of Ice. The production features the company's international dancers, costumes and stage sets set to a magical score, with performances at 14:30 and 17:30. Children under 3 are not permitted into the auditorium.
