Fiddles & Co.

A folk-based string ensemble for young players at Grade 2 upwards, run by Redbridge Music Service.

Fiddles & Co. is a string ensemble for young musicians at Grade 2 standard and above, playing mostly folk-based music. Repertoire is learned both by ear and from notation, with members collaborating and supporting each other to perform music from folk traditions. The session is open to players from Year 5 upwards, many of whom also take part in other Redbridge ensembles, and members can progress to the auditioned Junior String Orchestra.
