Children's Orchard Trail
About
A self-guided story trail through Sheppy's orchards where children aged 3-8 find woodland animals and learn how they prepare for winter.
Children follow a story trail around the cider farm's orchards, spotting woodland animals and discovering how they prepare for winter, with sights and sounds of nature designed for ages 3 to 8. The farm recommends wellingtons or walking boots as paths can be muddy, and provides a pencil for writing. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and dogs are not allowed in the orchards until harvesting finishes at the end of November. Visitors can also meet farm animals, use the play areas and duck pond, and visit the café and farm shop.
