Rochester Christmas Market
About
Kent's largest free-to-enter Christmas market returns to Rochester Castle Gardens with over 120 stalls, a funfair, food and drink and live bandstand entertainment across three weekends.
The Rochester Christmas Market takes place over three consecutive weekends in Rochester Castle Gardens, with the 11th-century Norman keep as a backdrop. More than 120 stalls offer artisan goods, sustainable gifts, clothing, homeware and festive foods, alongside a funfair and live performances on the bandstand. The market attracts around 250,000 visitors and is billed as Kent's largest free-to-enter public Christmas market. The weekend of 5–6 December coincides with the Dickensian Christmas Festival, and quiet shopping sessions with reduced capacity and no music or fair sounds are offered on selected dates.
