From Fairness to Flourishing: A multimethod study of neurodivergent workers in the UK
About
A research seminar at Essex Business School presenting a mixed-methods study of how organisational justice shapes the flourishing of neurodivergent UK workers.
Louise Nash and Raysa Rocha present findings from a British Academy/Leverhulme-funded study of neurodivergent workers' well-being. Using a survey of 296 UK neurodivergent workers alongside interviews with 42 workers, leaders, HRM professionals and neuro-inclusion entrepreneurs, the seminar shows that organisational justice fosters flourishing mainly through workplace belongingness. The talk argues that neuro-inclusion must be treated as a relational, infrastructural challenge rather than a compliance-driven practice.
