Fungi Foray

A guided walk on Cleeve Common with expert Joe McSorley exploring the fungi of the common's often overlooked hidden world.

A guided two-hour wander across Cleeve Common led by expert Joe McSorley, looking for the fungi that fruit among the grassland and steep terrain. Participants are encouraged to look down rather than at the views, and should wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather; a hand lens is welcome but optional. A moderate level of fitness is required, and Flynn's on the Hill restaurant at the golf club will be open afterwards for lunch.
