The Countrymen
About
Cornish five-piece folk rock harmony band The Countrymen perform original songs and contemporary folk arrangements with four-part vocals.
The Countrymen are a five-piece band whose style blends folk rock with tight four-part vocal harmony, drawing comparisons with Crosby, Stills & Nash and The Eagles. Their set features original songs and their own arrangements of lesser-known contemporary folk, with lyrics inspired by Cornish life, the decline of local industries and rural issues. The band performs up to 50 live gigs a year, including festival appearances such as Little Orchard Festival and Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival, and has released two albums with a third on the way.
