About
Six-piece band Liz Jones & Broken Windows play a Sunday-night show of roots, blues and psychedelia at The Acorn.
Liz Jones & Broken Windows return to The Acorn for what they call a second Sunday of "peaceful debauchery". The six-piece, corralling some of Scotland's best players, blend roots, blues and psychedelia in a 60s free-music spirit, with comparisons drawn to Little Feat, The Faces and Fleetwood Mac. Their live shows mix genre celebration and creative musicianship, and the line-up includes Jivin' Johnny Bruce of Edinburgh blues group Blues'N'Trouble. It is a pay-what-you-can event.
