About

The London preliminary of Tango to World Cup brings dancers together to compete across eleven tango categories during Tango2London.

The preliminary leads to the main Tango to World Cup competition at Tango2Istanbul. The announced judges are Eşref Tekinalp, Facundo Piñero, Vanesa Villalba, Bruna Estellita, Diego Ortega and Aldana Silveyra. Categories include Tango Salon, Tango Salon Social, Salon Senior, Solo Milonguero, Milonga, Vals, Escenario and four orchestra-themed categories: Di Sarli, D’Arienzo, Troilo and Pugliese. Competition runs 17:00–19:30 on Saturday and Sunday in the main hall. Exact category-round times will be published nearer the competition. Entry is charged per participant; both partners must register and pay separately. The programme welcomes competitors and spectators, with spectator admission terms not yet specified.
