Natural ink leaf printing
About
A hands-on natural ink printing workshop with artist Rachel Burchell at NWT Sweet Briar Marshes, using foraged leaves and homemade inks.
Norfolk Wildlife Trust hosts a relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop on natural ink printing at Sweet Briar Marshes, led by sustainable artist Rachel Burchell. After an introduction to natural inks, participants take a gentle wander through the reserve to gather leaves, then experiment with Rachel's homemade inks to reveal the textures and patterns hidden in foliage. The session runs for two and a half hours and focuses on curiosity and creativity rather than a polished outcome. It complements the Intertwine exhibition at Artdepot NR3, inspired by the marshes and created by the Elemental artist collective.
