Dear Zoo

A stage adaptation of Rod Campbell's classic children's book Dear Zoo, with puppets, music and audience interaction for young children.

Rod Campbell's best-selling lift-the-flap picture book Dear Zoo is adapted for the stage, following characters who write to the zoo asking for a pet and receive a cheeky monkey, a jumpy frog and finally a perfect puppy. The production uses child-engaging puppets, music and plenty of audience interaction, and runs without an interval, making it well suited to very young children and their families. First published in 1982, the book has sold more than eight million copies worldwide.
