Brity First Aid runs this one-day, HSE-aligned Emergency First Aid at Work course at the Crowne Plaza in Plymouth, aimed at workplace first aiders in low-risk environments or those refreshing their skills. The 9am–5pm session covers the primary survey and recovery position, CPR and AED use, shock, bleeding, burns, choking, heart attacks, strokes, and fractures, with an optional mental health module. Training is hands-on with groups capped at 12, and successful participants receive an EFAW certificate from the British Red Cross, valid for three years and issued the same day.
