About
A two-hour Pastel Nagomi Art workshop with Joyster Mindfulart at iCafe Merchant City, part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival.
This workshop, part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival under its 'Reflections' theme, introduces Pastel Nagomi Art, a gentle healing art form from Japan. Participants begin with guided mindful breathing, then learn techniques for grinding pastels, colour-mixing and fingertip painting with stencils to create their own artwork. The session emphasises the creative process as a mindful journey, cultivating self-compassion and mental well-being. No prior art experience is needed and all materials are provided.
