Reclaiming Our Power
About
A free exhibition at Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art showcasing artworks created through a Mental Health Foundation project on racism and mental health, part of SMHAF 2026.
Reclaiming Our Power is a Mental Health Foundation project exploring the mental health impact of racism, particularly racist microaggressions, through creative peer support workshops. People from marginalised communities worked with artists from a range of disciplines to produce artworks on this theme, and have co-curated the resulting exhibition conveying their everyday experiences. The display runs during gallery opening hours as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival 2026.
