Conservation Careers Day
About
A free careers day at Nottingham Cathedral where the Cliveden Conservation team introduces heritage conservation careers through talks, a behind-the-scenes tour and a workshop.
The Cliveden Conservation team hosts a day at Nottingham Cathedral exploring careers in heritage conservation, tied to the Restoring Pugin Project. The programme runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm and includes a welcome, a session meeting conservators, trainees and managers, a tour of the cathedral with a behind-the-scenes visit to the conservation works, and a talk on how research and analysis enabled the recreation of Pugin's decorations. The afternoon features a careers workshop led by Managing Director Lewis Proudfoot covering what employers look for, plus career surgery advice on courses, CVs and interviews, and demonstrations.
