About

The Bury Bach Choir, London Mozart Players and four soloists perform Dvořák's Stabat Mater at The Apex, Bury St Edmunds.

The Bury Bach Choir performs Dvořák's Stabat Mater, a sacred oratorio for soloists, choir and orchestra written after the deaths of the composer's children. The work moves from deep sorrow to radiant joy and is among the most emotionally charged pieces in the choral repertoire. The performance features soloists Anita Watson, Lauren Young, Max Robbins and Malachy Frame, with the London Mozart Players conducted by Benedict Collins Rice. The concert runs from 7.30pm to approximately 9.30pm with all seats reserved.
