SEND-Friendly Santa Specials at the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway

An adapted Santa train experience with fewer passengers, a quieter environment and adjusted music and performances.

The railway offers an adapted SEND-friendly Santa experience on 16 December, with fewer passengers for more space and a quieter environment, and Santa, music and other performances adjusted for the occasion. The return journey to Castle Caereinion, meeting Santa and elves, workshop visit and child’s gift are described on the standard Santa page. The railway event page advertises half-price adult and carer tickets for 16 December; the dedicated booking page lists adult tickets at £24 and registered carers at £12 with eligibility proof shown at the station. Confirm the adult charge with the organiser before booking. Children aged 2–15 are listed at £20 and infants under 2 at £5. Wheelchair and additional-access spaces are limited and should be arranged with the railway.
