Hannah Roberts (cello) and Simon Parkin (piano)

Hannah Roberts and Simon Parkin present a chamber recital featuring classical works and jazz arrangements.

The program includes Simon Parkin's three pieces for cello and piano, Frank Bridge's Sonata, and a Piano Trio. The recital features traditional works alongside arrangements of popular songs by Gershwin and Eric Clapton. Parkin also offers a modern take on the improvisatory baroque tradition with jazz-inspired repeats of the Goldberg Variations.
