8-week Introduction to Wheel Throwing Course, Thursday evening

An eight-week beginner pottery course at Turning Earth Highgate teaching wheel-throwing techniques in weekly Thursday evening sessions.

This eight-week course at Turning Earth Highgate's Main Studio introduces beginners to making ceramics on the pottery wheel, covering throwing techniques only. Sessions run on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:30pm between 29 October and 17 December 2026, taught by ceramic artist Vanessa Lim. Clay, glazes and studio equipment are included, with firing charged separately by volume, and class sizes are capped at 12 students per teacher. Students can book with an eight-piece starter toolkit or bring their own tools.
