Introduction to Wheel Throwing: four-week short course

A four-week beginner wheel-throwing course with Lewis Hayes, offered in three separately booked autumn cohorts.

Each small cohort of four learners has access to a pottery wheel. Lewis Hayes covers clay preparation and centring, simple thrown forms, trimming and decoration, then glazing. The Thursday morning cohorts run 10:00–12:30; the Wednesday evening cohort runs 20:00–22:30 and is currently sold out. These are alternate bookings for the same published course, rather than separate programmes.
