Harold and Marcia

A rehearsed reading of a new play about Harold Wilson and Marcia Williams in the aftermath of the 1975 EEC referendum, with audience feedback invited.

Front Bench Productions presents a rehearsed reading of Harold & Marcia, a new play set immediately after the 1975 EEC referendum. It examines the relationship between Harold Wilson, the only modern Prime Minister to win four elections, and his political secretary Marcia Williams. The performance runs about 1 hour 35 minutes, with doors opening at 19:10, and the East Riding Theatre audience is invited to give feedback ahead of the play returning in 2027.
