Insight to Agriculture (Farming for Non-Farmers) (Residential)
About
A two-day residential CPD course at RAU giving business professionals with no farming background an understanding of the agricultural and land-based sectors.
This two-day, in-person CPD course at the Royal Agricultural University's Cirencester campus is aimed at business professionals who work with agriculture and land-based businesses but have little or no prior knowledge of the sector. It covers the complexities and nuances of farming and the wider land-based economy to help participants perform their professional roles more effectively. The course is led by Tom Overbury, Visiting Lecturer in the School of Agriculture, who has lectured at RAU since 1983 and runs his own 150-hectare beef and arable farm. Attendees receive a CPD Certificate of Completion endorsed by the RAU.
