Raku & Alternative Firings

A one-day workshop led by ceramicist Heather Gilbert covering raku and various alternative firing techniques.

This workshop is designed for potters who have bisque-fired pottery ready for raku firing. The session includes western style raku glaze firings, naked raku, and horse hair and feather firings. The workshop also covers saggar firing using materials like seaweed and sawdust to add color to the work.
