Thornton Short Walk

A free, relaxed two-mile guided walk along Thornton's pavements and paths, exploring local parks and woodlands with volunteer walk leaders.

Wyre Council's volunteer walk leaders lead a gentle two-mile amble around Thornton, taking in the town's parks and woodlands along pavements and paths. The walk is graded as access for all and suitable for all ages, with under-18s needing to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, and there is no need to book — participants simply meet in The Square by Tavern at the Mill at Marsh Mill Village.
