Knott End Short Walk

A free, guided two-mile leisurely walk around Knott End with views over the River Wyre and Morecambe Bay, meeting at the ferry slipway shelter.

Wyre Council's Great Outdoors walk is a two-mile, moderate-difficulty stroll around Knott End, following paths and tracks through nearby farmland with views over the River Wyre and Morecambe Bay. No booking is needed — participants simply meet at the Knott End Ferry Slipway Shelter at 11am. The walk is suitable for all ages (under-18s must be accompanied by an adult), well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, and it is accessible for trampers if booked seven days in advance.
