Granulation Masterclass with Linda Lewin

A three-day advanced masterclass at The Goldsmiths' Centre where jeweller Linda Lewin teaches the ancient technique of granulation for contemporary jewellery practice.

Artist-jeweller Linda Lewin leads this three-day technical skills masterclass on granulation — creating tiny spheres of precious metal and fixing them to surfaces without conventional solder joints. Participants work in Britannia silver, learning to produce consistent granules, experiment with copper salts and copper plating, and apply granulation to three-dimensional forms, before developing their own granulated piece. Limited to eight advanced-level participants, the course combines demonstrations, samples and graded practical exercises, with a maximum of eight places and bookings closing on 26 February 2027.
