About
Hands-on machine-sewing practice for adult beginners, covering setup and seams before participants make a small take-home item.
For adult learners aged 18 and over with little or no previous experience. Participants practise threading and operating a sewing machine, learn four seam types and make a simple item such as a cushion cover or fabric tote. Equipment is available in the workshop; learners bring a small sewing kit.
