Quiet Family Workshop: ‘Autumnal Spells’ Quivering Quills and Spooky Spells
About
A quiet, autism- and neurodivergent-friendly family workshop crafting quills and writing spooky spells inspired by Dylan Thomas's autumn poems.
This hands-on family workshop invites children and their grown-ups to craft quills and write their own spells, inspired by Dylan Thomas's autumn poems and spooky items from Swansea Museum's natural history collection. It is designed to be autism and neurodivergent friendly, with additional staff on hand to support families with different sensory needs. Materials are recycled and sustainable, using naturally dropped feathers collected by Llanelli WWT, with stick quills as an alternative. The session runs 10am–12pm with a maximum capacity of 28.
