Strange But True Crime

A true-crime talk exploring shocking and unbelievable real crime cases, from killer clowns to phantom serial killers.

This true-crime talk presents a series of bizarre but real criminal cases, including a serial killer who worked in law enforcement while on the run, a female balloon-carrying killer clown, and the hunt for a phantom female serial killer whose DNA appeared at over 40 crime scenes despite never existing. Other topics include game show appearances that led to serial killers being identified and how innocent people can be tied to crimes by DNA, fingerprints or eyewitnesses. The event is listed under Talk/Lecture and takes place on the evening of 11 November 2026.
