French Wine Scholar: Beaujolais, Jura and Savoie Evening
About
A single-evening Wine Scholar Guild masterclass at West London Wine School tasting wines from Beaujolais, Jura and Savoie.
This evening masterclass forms one session of the Wine Scholar Guild's French Wine Scholar curriculum and doubles as a taster for anyone considering the full programme. Participants explore the history, geography and cultural influences behind Beaujolais, Jura and Savoie, then taste a selected lineup including Gamay from Beaujolais, aromatic and oxidative whites from Jura, and mountain-inspired wines from Savoie. The session is not suitable for students currently enrolled on the French Wine Scholar course, though former students are welcome to revisit the tasting.
