Permablitz to prepare the garden for winter and set up Johnson-Su & thermophilic composting

A permablitz event focused on setting up Johnson-Su and thermophilic composting systems and preparing the garden for winter.

The event involves developing a new Johnson-Su composting setup, which produces biologically rich aerobic compost over 9-12 months. Participants will also build a thermophilic compost bay, guided by soil-food-web expert Becca Goodall. The day includes clearing, mulching, and planting green manures to support the soil over winter, and mini workshops on composting techniques.
