Regenerative Soil Management and Compost Workshop

A hands-on workshop at Hestercombe's demonstration garden covering soil health, composting systems and chemical-free growing techniques.

Led by Rachel from EDGE, this three-hour practical workshop at Hestercombe's self-sufficiency garden explores how to build rich, living soil without chemicals. Participants take part in garden tours, demonstrations and hands-on activities covering soil structure and biology, natural pest and drought resilience, and composting systems including wormeries, bokashi and hot composting. Around 60% of the session is outdoors on uneven ground, with refreshments provided; it suits beginners and experienced gardeners alike.
