Creative Futures Taster Session: Monoprinting
About
A free monoprinting taster workshop for ages 11-18 introducing the Whitaker's three-year Creative Futures Project.
This taster session introduces the Creative Futures Project, a three-year programme offering young people involvement in festival production, sound and tech, curation and exhibiting through workshops and youth-led events. Participants will explore The Whitaker's collection and architecture, then create their own monoprints inspired by images, shapes and details found in the building, experimenting with mark-making, texture and pattern. All materials are provided and the session is for ages 11-18. It is supported by Pride in Place Funding in partnership with Rossendale Borough Council and Our Towns Plan.
