This exhibition is Özgür Kar's first UK institutional solo show, presenting his multidisciplinary practice spanning video, sculpture, animation and sound. Kar creates immersive environments exploring mortality, alienation and repetition, deepening his engagement with opera and theatre as settings of existential enquiry. Scenography and dramaturgy structure a deadpan narrative unfolding across the galleries. The exhibition is co-commissioned with Kunsthalle Basel and supported by The Ampersand Foundation.
