Embroidery Design with Couching/Slow Stitch

A workshop led by textile artist Carol-Ann Allan teaching the basics of Couching and Slow Stitch embroidery design.

This workshop teaches participants how to create embroidered designs using Couching and slow Stitching techniques. Couching involves laying thread onto fabric and stitching over it to form the design, which is useful for creating texture and covering larger areas. The session will also cover running stitch and the use of different threads.
