The Coat & Bear in Newbury offers a Christmas Day experience built around a five-course menu at £115 per person, beginning with a glass of Buck's Fizz. Courses include roast parsnip soup, a choice of Chalkstream trout or Jerusalem artichoke risotto, mains such as free range roast turkey, aged beef fillet, celeriac and mushroom en croute or halibut, and desserts including homemade Christmas pudding and Yule log, followed by cheese. A dedicated children's menu for under-eights costs £25. Guests can also book 'Your Cosy Christmas Escape' overnight stay package, with pre-orders due by 1st December 2026.
